Before your first visit, I will send you a confidential client questionnaire to the email you provide. Please fill it out as fully as you are comfortable doing. This saves time during the initial visit, as you can then reply at your leisure. If you have any difficulty or concerns with answering some of the questions, you can leave those answers blank. If you're unable to fill out the form ahead of time, it would be good to get to the appointment a few minutes early, and I can have it ready for you to fill out when you get here. For both HK and massage - the more information I have, the better I can help!
You should come to the session with comfortable clothing, and please avoid any heavy perfumes or colognes as they may be a possible allergy trigger to others that come to get therapy work done. You must be booked ahead of time to ensure you get the time and attention you deserve.
First Energy Visit
Your first visit should last somewhere between one and a half to two hours, depending on how many questions you may have to start with and how long it takes for us to determine together what the best course of action is to help you to address your health concerns. Any sessions after that should last between an hour to an hour and a half at most.
First Massage Visit
Your first visit (and all subsequent visits) can be either 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes depending on what you book. Plan to get here a few minutes early if you have any questions, and so we can go over how to tailor your appointment to best fit your needs.
First MLD Visit
MLD for post op plastic surgery (ie: breast augmentation, tummy tuck, BBL, lipo, or some combination of them - called a “mommy makeover”): it is best to do an evaluation before surgery to decide what would be best for your optimal recovery. Age, health, number of surgeries, and what type of surgeries make a difference in planning. Knowing your plastic surgeon’s post care requirements and what compression garments you will be using helps me to do everything I can to aid in your care.
MLD for post surgery cancer reconstruction/other treatment: you need to get a note for clearance to have MLD work done. Post op reconstruction has many benefits, but there are times where your surgeon may not want you to have any form of body work done. Always follow doctor instructions!
MLD for general care: general care, for either relaxation or simple detoxification, simply requires the usual introductions and paperwork.
Every client is different, and each session is an exciting chance to see what the body requires to achieve the balance that we all strive for each day. I look forward to helping each and every one of you, and am so fortunate to work with people who want to take the steps needed to find the best version of themselves!
