Let Me Introduce Myself
I've been interested in alternative health for most of my life. I first started studying HK in 2004, but it wasn't until 2016 that I expanded my studies and decided to make holistic therapy my profession.

In 2004, my own personal struggles with trying to expand my family led me to a Health Kinesiologist in Upstate NY. I loved the results I got from the sessions with my therapist so much that I was determined to learn the basics of HK. I knew that core knowledge could help me to address any allergies my family might have in the future, and possibly help my kids deal with hyperactivity issues or even just the stress that comes from growing up in the world today. In 2016, I was able to expand my knowledge of HK further. I studied abroad taking classes in Mansfield, England. I've been privileged to head back there a handful of times, each time adding to the menu of work I can access to help clients. The UK has strict requirements for their certification, so I was able to add hundreds of case study hours in practice before even being certified through the UK in holistic therapy.
A trip through Nottingham Forest, during some of the free hours I had during my travels for school.
One of the biggest reasons I started my focus on HK was to be able to help those who struggle to find results through the usual medical route.
Since then, my life took unexpected turns - as most of ours do. Those changes led me to massage therapy. I got licensed in North Carolina in 2020. Neuromuscular massage, oncology massage, prenatal massage, reflexology, hot stone massage, Himalayan massage, cupping, as well as adding Reiki I and II to my energy certifications followed close behind. I am fully certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and I am specialized in post op for plastic surgery MLD as well. Eventually I will be adding nutritional counselor to my list of certifications. Currently, I find myself drawn to the Ayurvedic therapies as well - so we will see where that takes me! My belief is that knowledge is power, and the more I understand about the body and how different each of us are, the more I can continue to grow in my understanding of how to help each and every person that crosses my path. I believe there is a reason you are here today, and I just hope I get to be a part of your future growth, as I am sure you will be of mine. Namaste.
